Bridging classroom and career.
The digital way.

Luisa Surma

I transform tomorrow with digital and career skills today.

About Me

I've spent more than a decade turning learning into lasting knowledge, starting as a high school English teacher and evolving through roles from EdTech startups to Amazon Web Services, all focused on connecting academic insights with the real-world skills our diverse workforce needs today.

I believe that genuine learning requires active participation, transforming abstract ideas into tangible, practical skills to truly grasp and retain knowledge.

I see program management as crafting environments that inspire people to learn, push their boundaries, and embark on new discoveries.

"Luisa's expertise and knowledge in career readiness pour out of her with passion. From the moment I met her, I knew she was authentically here trying to bridge a major generational skills gap and promote success for our student body. She is the type of person who makes you want to be better, just by being around her energy."
